Driver Unresponsive, Passenger Injured after Vehicle Slams into Tree(JANUARY 8TH, 2026)
A vehicle collision on Thursday, January 8th, left one occupant unresponsive after the car struck a tree in Vieux Fort. Emergency crews arrived at approximately 1:30 p.m. to find a female driver unconscious behind the wheel and the male passenger conscious but seriously injured. Both victims were transported to hospital, where the passenger remains in stable condition while the driver is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
