NIC WARNS OF SURGE IN SICKNESS CLAIMS DRIVEN BY CHRONIC DISEASES
The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) has warned that sickness benefit claims could climb to 59,000 by 2030, carrying an annual price tag of $31 million, if trends driven by non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and unhealthy behaviours go unchecked.
