Residents of Vieux Fort North were the first to benefit from the National Emergency Management Organization’s (NEMO) « ziplock initiative, » a program designed to strengthen disaster preparedness.
This drive aims to raise public awareness of NEMO’s critical role, both during the active hurricane season and throughout the rest of the year.
