Police Push for Community Participation
Community leaders and senior police officials are calling for stronger public participation and shared responsibility in addressing crime and quality-of-life issues in Couva, as concerns ranging from theft to noise pollution continue to affect residents.
The appeal came during a community policing meeting where officials stressed that safety cannot be achieved by law enforcement alone.
