Family Retains Lawyer In Quest To Find Missing Loved One | TVJ News
A family accusing a funeral home of taking the wrong body to a church says they have retained a lawyer as they continue efforts to locate their loved one.
They are also dispelling rumours in the public domain that they abandoned 89-year-old Roy Williams.
The family says they remain resolute as they intensify the search.
Roy Williams and his cousin, Astley Herbert, were both expected to be given what Jamaicans call a “proper send-off,” but that was disrupted after the family claimed the man in the casket did not resemble Roy.
Since then, they have been working tirelessly to get answers—and have now retained legal representation.
