Halkitis on Being Approached By Gardiner: “I Am Able To Confirm That I Was Not”
Newly appointed Minister of Finance, Michael Halkitis, says he was never personally approached by Eric “Player” Gardiner, who was arrested by U.S. authorities on May 12th on drug trafficking charges, but instead by Gardiner’s attorney for financial consultation services related to Gardiner’s company, Top Notch Builders.
Addressing questions surrounding his connection to Gardiner, Halkitis told reporters at the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday that, as a private citizen, he provided financial consulting services to Top Notch Builders in mid-2019 and resigned as a director of the company in 2021.
