T&T SECURES UN SECURITY COUNCIL SEAT 2027 2028
History was made at the United Nations yesterday when Trinidad and Tobago secured a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the 2027 to 2028 term. Running unopposed for the Latin American and Caribbean bloc, our twin-island nation captured an overwhelming 181 votes during the 80th session of the General Assembly.
