Opposition Leader Michael Pintard accused the government of attempting to silence debate in the House of Assembly. Pintard said the Opposition would continue to raise concerns both inside and outside Parliament. He argued that the government has failed to comply with procurement laws and questioned its handling of public contracts. Pintard also criticized the use of direct contract awards, saying greater competition is needed to ensure fairness and wider opportunities for Bahamians.
