Two Women Sentenced In Tobago Cocaine Trafficking Case

Two women have been sentenced in connection with cocaine trafficking charges stemming from a 2022 police operation in Tobago.
Nichole Jordan and Morisa Findley were arrested by officers of the Tobago Divisional Task Force and jointly charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
After trial proceedings, both appeared before Senior Magistrate Alicia Chankar for sentencing on June 8, 2026.
Following a guilty verdict on the joint charge, they also pleaded guilty to separate offences. Jordan was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment, while Findley received seven months. The sentences will run concurrently.
The court heard that the drugs had a combined estimated street value of over TT$220,000, with additional quantities found on each woman.
