SAINT LUCIA ISSUES TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR THE EBOLA VIRUS DISEASE
Local health authorities have introduced an immediate travel advisory for the Ebola Virus Disease.
The Ministry of Health advises citizens to avoid all non-essential travel to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan.
According to the new rules, anyone arriving from these specified locations must complete a mandatory twenty-one-day quarantine.
No cases have been detected locally, but border monitoring is being increased to ensure public safety.
