Cultural Officer II Jesse Taylor joins Virmala to discuss the return of Ready, Set, Go! 4: Charting a Legacy, an initiative aimed at preserving Tobago’s traditional performing arts by bringing hands-on learning experiences directly into communities.
Following the programme’s opening session at the Belle Garden Multi-Purpose Facility, Taylor reflects on participant engagement, the transfer of knowledge from veteran cultural practitioners, and the importance of safeguarding traditional dance, drumming and chants for future generations. He also previews the next phase of the programme at the Shaw Park Complex and the long-term impact it hopes to achieve.
