Minister of Tourism Glenys Hanna-Martin is calling the recent viral altercation involving tourists at the Nassau Cruise Port a major concern. Videos circulating online show officers attempting to restrain individuals at the Tourism Police Station after they had already been detained and transported to the facility. One suspect was also seen damaging a glass door at the station.
Following the incident, which led to the arrest and charging of five Americans, Hanna-Martin is reminding visitors that The Bahamas is a destination known for its beauty, peace, and order.
