Government Signs MOU To Expand Hearing Healthcare Services

The Government of Trinidad and Tobago signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Starkey Hearing Foundation aimed at improving hearing healthcare services across the country.
The agreement was signed on Friday at the Parliamentary Complex in Port of Spain following a meeting between Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Minister of Health Dr Lackram Bodoe, and President and Board Chair of the Starkey Hearing Foundation, Richard Brown.
The MOU will support technical cooperation, training, hearing screening programmes, expanded access to hearing support services, and assistive technologies for citizens.
