As the Blackheart 2026 SLFA Boys’ Under-20 Knockout Football Tournament reaches its final stages, organizers say the competition is proving to be a powerful tool for youth development, community pride, and steering young men away from crime and violence.
La Clery, Gros Islet, Vieux Fort South and Soufrière have all secured spots in the semifinals of the island’s longest-running knockout football competition. The Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. (SLFA) has praised the high standard of football on display and the overwhelming support from communities across the island. Meanwhile, the CEO of Blackheart Sports Entertainment believes the tournament provides a vital outlet for young men to channel their energy positively.
