SAINT LUCIA TO HOST CARICOM SUMMIT

Saint Lucia is preparing to step into the regional spotlight as it officially takes the helm of the Caribbean Community.
At the weekly pre-cabinet press briefing, Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre announced the launch of the fifty-first Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.
Saint Lucia will host the major regional summit from July fifth to July eighth, 2026, with the opening ceremony scheduled at the Sandals Resorts.
Prime Minister Pierre will formally assume the chairmanship of CARICOM on July first, succeeding Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew of Saint Kitts and Nevis for a six-month tenure
