The JAAA National Junior and Senior Championships got underway at the National Stadium on Thursday, with athletes beginning their quest for places on Jamaica’s teams to major international competitions this summer.
Among the events on the opening afternoon was the Under-20 Girls’ Discus Throw final, featuring standout performers from Merl Grove, Clarendon College and Immaculate Conception High.
