Founder and Director of the Bahamas Crisis Center Dr. Sandra Patterson said today, children learn behavior from what they see and experience at home. She also insisted that making a stable and nurturing environment is critical to their development. She warned that exposure to violence, both in the home and online, continues to shape how young people view and respond to conflict. Her comments came at a press conference this morning, where the center announced a Day of Parenting Symposium.
