Inspired/By X The Current Art Talk: Venice Biennale
Last night, the ECCHO Art Gallery at Baha Mar was filled with positive energy and engaging conversations centered on the importance of strengthening The Bahamas’ Orange Economy.
The event, a collaboration between Inspired/by and The Current, was hosted by Inspired/by founder Royann Dean and brought together creatives and cultural advocates to discuss the future of the country’s creative industries.
The evening also celebrated a significant milestone: The Bahamas’ recent participation in the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale through the work of artists Lavar Munroe and the late John Beadle.
According to Baha Mar’s Vice President of Arts & Culture, John Cox, The Bahamas received a warm reception at the prestigious biennale.
