Tobago Woman Stabbed To Death At Home
Police are investigating the murder of a woman in Mt St George, Tobago.
According to reports, 39-year-old Neisha Roberts was found dead at her #1 Village Street home on Wednesday morning by a relative who went to check on her.
She was last seen at about 10pm on Tuesday.
Police were called to the scene and quickly cordoned off the area to investigate the homicide, confirming that Ms Roberts had multiple stab wounds to her body.
Initial reports suggest that the killing may have stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Relatives and neighbours told reporters that she had recently ended a relationship and believe the incident may be connected to her former partner.
She was employed with the National Maintenance, Training and Security Company Limited (MTS) and also served as a deaconess at the Mt St George Seventh-day Adventist Church.
