U.S. Ambassador Herschel Walker Tours Freedom 250 Founders Museum at Nassau Cruise Port
U.S. Ambassador Herschel Walker got a first-hand look at the Freedom 250 Founders Museum at The Gallery & Wine Bar at Nassau Cruise Port. The exhibit featured photographs that highlight U.S. history and the connection between the United States and The Bahamas. It’s a part of the U.S. 250th Independence celebrations.
The exhibit also included Junkanoo pieces created by members of the World Famous Valley Boys, Roots, and Shell Saxons Superstars, which commemorate elements of U.S. culture. Ambassador Walker thanked the CEO of Nassau Cruise Port Matt Maura for the display. Walker said the creativity the showcase left him in “awe.”
