The next generation of tourism leaders took center stage on Thursday as secondary school students shared bold ideas and fresh perspectives on the future of Saint Lucia’s tourism industry.
The National Tourism Public Speaking Competition, brought together some of the island’s brightest young minds as they competed for the opportunity to become Junior Tourism Minister.
The initiative, a collaboration between the tourism and education sectors, aims to inspire young people between the ages of 14 and 17 to explore careers in tourism and become ambassadors for Saint Lucia’s number one industry.
