Allen: “The Law Says That the Parent Can Be Charged”
Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Sr. says parents should bear greater responsibility for the actions of their children, particularly in cases involving negligence and criminal behavior.
Allen stated that while the law provides for youths to be charged where necessary, it also allows for parents to be held accountable, adding that parents should accept responsibility for their children’s criminal actions.
