NEW ECCB BANKNOTES FEATURES NATIONAL HEROES & REGIONAL ICONS
For the first time, the new EC banknotes will replace the image of the late Queen Elizabeth II with notable national heroes, nation builders, and regional icons. The unveiling of the notes took place during the ceremony marking the change in chairmanship of the ECCB Monetary Council.
