“My Brother Went To Get Something To Eat, and Was Struck Down…Like a Dog”
The family of a 43-year-old man reflected on his tragic death over the Independence holiday weekend. They spoke to our team outside the morgue this morning, where they identified him as Ryan Basden.
The Nassau Village resident was fatally struck as he was walking on Taylor Street. His brother, Kendrick Smith says he was trying to find something to eat when the tragedy unfolded. Smith also claimed that after the accident, the police hadn’t contacted the family.
