Cooper: “We Are Focused on Results”
Minister of Education Chester Cooper said that the 300 teachers being recruited from Ghana will be offered the same benefits and employment contracts as Bahamian teachers. He said the educators will remain in The Bahamas for as long as they are needed and will undergo a full vetting process, including checks by the Public Service Commission and the Department of Labour, to ensure they meet both professional and character requirements.
