“Junkanoo Goes Beyond Bay”
At least 200 people could soon get the help they need thanks to a popular Junkanoo group that’s taking their work beyond Bay Street and into the community.
The Roots Junkanoo Group is looking to feed hundreds of people in need this Saturday at its breakfast and clothing giveaway on Christie Park.
Director of the Roots Community Outreach Program, Alia Coley, said the reality is that many persons are in need of help in the country.
