T&T Open Caribbean Men’s Final Four Championship Against Barbados
Trinidad and Tobago were locked in action moments ago against Barbados as they served off their participation at the Caribbean Men’s Final 4 Championship in Curacao.
Should we call it a redemption tour? Trinidad and Tobago were scheduled to face Barbados this evening in the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association Senior Men’s Final 4 Championship 2026 in Curacao.
The four-team tournament features regional powerhouse Barbados, former winners Bahamas, and reigning champions and host Curacao who beat Bahamas last August in Senior Championship in Bahamas. Trinidad and Tobago finished a disappointing 6th place in that tournament while the T&T ladies won the women’s equivalent.
The Final Four Championship is a round-robin format with the top two teams advancing to the Gold Medal Match on Monday, while the two others will compete in the Bronze Medal Match.
Teenage sensation Ayden Austin is the only player from Tobago to be named to the team which is led by Head Coach Gideon Dickson.
The Cazova Final Four Women’s Championship 2026 is scheduled to be hosted at Shaw Park in Tobago at a date to be decided.
