Sir Garfield Sobers, widely regarded as the greatest all-rounder cricket has ever seen, has died. He was 89. The Barbados-born legend played 93 tests for the West Indies between 1954 and 1974, seven of them as captain. He once hit six sixes in a single over, a first in the sport’s history. Veteran commentator Joseph « Reds » Pereira says the loss hit him hard.
