Island Wide Outage
Bahamas Power and Light has advised that an electrical fire at the Blue Hills Power Station led to an Island-wide loss of power supply on New Providence.
GInitial investigations suggest that a suspected underground cable fault at the Blue Hill Power Station resulted in the explosion of a 15MVA transformer, leading to outage.
