“I’ll Be Faulted If I Were To Speak on Employer, Employee Confidentiality”
Beaches and Parks Executive Chairman Jamahl Strachan says the agency will not comment further on an alleged forced resignation involving an FNM supporter.
Speaking to media following Friday’s demonstration outside The Bahamas Beaches and Parks, Strachan confirmed that the resignation is “in hand,” but said further comment could compromise the integrity of the employee-employer process.
Strachan also rejected the suggestion that political affiliation plays a role in hiring, saying he does not believe politics has any place in the process.
He encouraged Bahamians, regardless of political affiliation, to apply for positions within the public service.
