MINISTER EDWARD: SIR JULIAN HUNTE HIGHWAY CONTRACT AWARD TARGETED FOR NOVEMBER
Government expects to award a contract for the Sir Julian Hunte Highway Rehabilitation Project by the end of November—That is the word from Infrastructure Minister Shawn Edward on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament Building ahead of the House sitting, he said civil works will begin section by section, with construction prioritized to limit disruption for the tens of thousands of daily commuters on the corridor.
