Hewanorra International Airport Redevelopment Project Moves Closer To Construction(AUG 12TH, 2026)
The Hewanorra International Airport Redevelopment Project is advancing, with Infrastructure Minister Hon. Shawn Edward confirming that the Air Traffic Control Tower is now 95% complete and a contractor has been selected for the remaining components of the project.
