Non Functional Equipment At JDF Hampers Efforts To Extinguish Bushfire | TVJ News
As Jamaica continues to grapple with widespread bush fires across the island, non-functional equipment at the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) is making it harder for firefighters to do their job.
The Jamaica Fire Brigade says the JDF was unable to douse the massive bush fire in Irish Town, St. Andrew, allowing the blaze to spread and threaten nearby homes.
Although the fire has since been extinguished, firefighters say they are now battling a different kind of challenge.
