Prime Minister Philip Davis in a national address tonight shed light on government’s plan to address power issues in the country, citing the recent blackouts and power outages.
These upgrades include the introduction of liquefied natural gas (LNG), micro grid and solar projects in the Family Islands and a fuel hedge of 2.5 million barrels of oil.
In addressing the recent outages and demand, he added that unused or idle generators were brought online as well as the rebuilding of turbochargers and alternators at BPL.
