The Universe Speaks
« The Universe Speaks: Art, Rehabilitation and New Beginnings » … that’s the extraordinary art show that highlights the transformative power of creativity, personal growth and rehabilitation.
Hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service in collaboration with the Raja Yoga Prison Ministry, the exhibition can be viewed at Long Circular Mall, St James.
At the launch, Acting Commissioner of Prison Elvin Scanterbury underscored the importance of rehabilitation and the meaningful opportunities it provides to make positive changes in prisoners’ lives.
Commissioner Scanterbury also paid tribute to the Raja Yoga Prison Ministry, particularly Sister Kay, for its unwavering partnership with the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service over the past 39 years.
The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, Mr Scanterbury said, will remain committed to strengthening rehabilitation initiatives and partnerships that contribute to responsible reintegration and safer communities.
The exhibition, which celebrates creativity, rehabilitation and new beginnings, runs from August 24th to 29th, 2026, at Long Circular Mall, St James, and is open to members of the public.
