Rahming: “This Is Not The Beginning of Income Tax”
Director of Communications in the Office of the Prime Minister, Latrae Rahming, says the launch of the government’s One Tax Bahamas platform does not mark the beginning of income tax in The Bahamas, addressing recent public speculation.
Rahming says the platform was developed to digitize tax-related services and make it easier for Bahamians to manage VAT, business licences, real property taxes and more.
The One Tax Bahamas platform is expected to launch on September 1.
