External Affairs Minister Alva Baptiste has warned that Saint Lucia faces a turbulent global trade and geopolitical landscape, telling reporters at a pre-cabinet briefing that trade policy and foreign policy have become inseparable.

He said Caribbean nations will defend their citizenship by investment programmes in Brussels while pushing to diversify markets and strengthen the region’s economic resilience.
