Saint Lucia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund has received its first injection of funds. The deposit comes from profits generated through the Citizenship by Investment Programme. Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre is pointing to the milestone as a rebuttal to critics. He had faced sharp criticism over how the fund was created and governed.
