PM To Lead T&T Delegation To United Nations Next Week
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is expected to lead a Trinidad and Tobago delegation to the United Nations next week.
Minister of Energy and Energy Industries Dr Roodal Moonilal says the delegation is still being finalised.
He also highlighted the Government’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with Venezuela, saying efforts are underway to strengthen relations between the two countries.
« As you know Minister Sean Sobers has also been working on the diplomatic front with Venezuela. We had some very important work to do and I believe that both the Prime Minister and Minister Sean Sobers have done a major job so far in you know repairing the damage done by the former administration in terms of our relationship with the people and government of Venezuela. »
Minister Moonilal said the Government will continue working with its international partners as the Prime Minister prepares to lead the delegation to the UN.
