PM Davis Defends Halkitis on NIF
Prime Minister Philip Davis has described the Official Opposition’s response to Finance Minister Michael Halkitis remarks on the National Investment Fund as “political antics”. The NIF has been under heavy scrutiny over the management of money connected to the fund.
In Parliament, Halkitis insisted the government operated within the law. Today, Prime Minister Davis told reporters that details were clearly explained in Halkitis’ communication.
