“It Was a Bit of Relief; We Hope For Swift Justice”
It was an emotional scene outside the Magistrates Court complex on South Street as family members, friends, and colleagues of educator Jillian Pinder gathered on Tuesday for the arraignment of two suspects police allege are connected to her killing.
Prosecutors say Mrs. Pinder was at her Lake Cunningham Estates Home when she was kidnapped by intruders, who stabbed her in the throat on June 4. Pinder died from her injuries on July 26.
Pinder’s Brother, Jason Rahming, described her as the most beautiful person that anyone could ever meet. He also told Our News that the family hopes there will be swift justice in the case.
Also outside court was Pinder’s cousin, Kaliah Sutherland, who said even though they cannot bring Jillian back, justice will be served.
