Grenada To Host Nations League Matches In T&T
The Grenada Football Association has confirmed that its 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League home matches will be played in Trinidad and Tobago, following ongoing concerns about the playing surface at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium.
Grenada’s head coach, who is Trinidad and Tobago’s all-time top scorer, Stern John, will host two League B, Group C matches against Bonaire at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain on October 2nd and 5th.
The decision comes after repeated warnings, fines and compliance issues over poor field conditions, including penalties in September 2023 and May 2026.
Both matches will be John’s first competitive games in charge since he was appointed head coach in August.
