Los Atajos Celebrates Rich Cocoa Panyol Heritage
A Community Heritage Storytelling event in Los Atajos is highlighting the Central Trinidad community’s rich cocoa Panyol heritage and traditions. The event brought residents and visitors together through storytelling, folklore, music, traditional games and historical artefacts.
Ryan Rampersad, Chairman of the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation joins Virmala to discuss the importance of preserving Los Attajos’ history, strengthening community identity and passing its stories and traditions on to future generations.
