Straw Market Vendors React to Cleanup and One Month Rent Concession
Following a two-day closure for cleanup, Straw Market vendors are reacting to changes at the market, including the removal of railings and the relocation of merchandise.
While most vendors welcomed the cleaner environment and the one rent-free month announced by Minister of Culture Leslia Miller-Brice during the slow season, others raised concerns that their merchandise had been moved and railings removed without prior written notice.
