Senior Engineer: “We Plan To Do A Complete Repair”
North Eleuthera Airport’s runway needs a complete repair, not more patching, according to Ministry of Works Senior Engineer David Cox.
Cox says the runway is filled with potholes and that an assessment will be submitted to the Ministry.
Cabinet approval for funding will be required before repair work can begin.
The announcement follows Western Air’s suspension of service to North Eleuthera due to runway conditions.
