The Government has announced plans to reduce the amount of office space to be used by the National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority, NaRRA, following public backlash over the cost of its proposed accommodation.
NaRRA said on Monday that it had signed a five-year lease for space in the Digicel building in downtown Kingston at an annual cost of J$120 million.
The decision drew widespread criticism, with questions raised about why the agency would occupy privately leased space instead of a government-owned facility.
