Shooting
A man in his mid-20s was fatally shot late Friday night after occupants of a black vehicle opened fire on him at the intersection of Flint and Comfort Streets.
Chief Superintendent Leonard Ramsey said police were alerted to gunshots shortly before 11:30 p.m., where they found the victim unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds.
Preliminary investigations indicated that he fled north along Comfort Street in an attempt to escape his attackers before collapsing.
Ramsey is appealing to young men to find more amicable ways to resolve their differences, while police continue to appeal to the public for information to assist with the investigation.
