Davis Administration Targeting Business In Asian Market
The Bahamas is looking to expand its international financial services business in Asia, with the government pursuing new opportunities to attract business and strengthen the country’s position in the global financial market.
Economic Affairs Minister Senator Jerome Fitzgerald, spoke at the Bahamas Asia Forum in Singapore today. He said the government’s efforts to build new business relationships will continue in Shanghai following the Singapore engagements.
The initiative forms part of the Davis administration’s push to broaden the Bahamas’ reach in Asian markets and create new opportunities for the financial services sector.
