Hurricane Melissa left hospitals across western Jamaica damaged, flooded and struggling to provide care. At Savanna-la-Mar Hospital, medical staff continued treating patients as the storm battered the building. In Falmouth, healthcare workers formed a human chain to rescue a patient as seawater surged around them.

Even as some workers lost their homes and faced uncertainty about their own families, they returned to serve their communities. Eye of the Storm Part 2 captures the courage, sacrifice and resilience of Jamaica’s healthcare workers in the aftermath of the historic Category 5 hurricane.
