NewsBite: Jamaica's Rain Pattern Data Being Tracked
Dr. Parris Lyew-Ayee Jr. is building a detailed record of rainfall across Jamaica, tracing patterns back to 1981. The data could show why some communities receive frequent rain while others face persistent dry conditions. It may help farmers plan crops, planting and irrigation, while guiding water managers on storage and investment. To make a difference, the findings must reach the people who can turn them into action.
